Explanation
Under the batch-settlement scheme the server settles more than the deposit the client authorized, attempting to take funds beyond the agreed cap. A correctly bound permit means the facilitator should reject the overcharge, but the merchant's reconciliation logic is the root cause and must clamp settlement to the authorized deposit.
